Corwen is one of the "ancient parishes" of Merioneth. The parish church was extensively restored in 1871/1872, re-opening on Tuesday, 2 April 1872. The church was in Merioneth until 1974; and in Clwyd from 1974 until 1996. It is now in "new" Denbighshire. |
