Rhyl - St. Thomas

The foundation stone of St. Thomas's church was laid on Whit Monday, 20 May 1861. The nave was opened for worship in 1862. The chancel was added, and opened in July 1867. The church was consecrated in March 1869.

The clock turret and the spire were added to the tower in 1875.

The church was in Flintshire until 1974; and in Clwyd from 1974 until 1996.

It is now in "new" Denbighshire.
