The Isycoed War Memorial commemorates those men of the area who died during World War I.
The memorial, situated in the grounds of St. Paul's Parish Church, is in the form of a cross of marble on a stone base and the height of it is 8 feet 6 inches. It was dedicated on 24th October 1919 .
It lies around 5 miles to the east of Wrexham on the border with England. Until 1974 the area was part of historic Denbighshire, and between 1974 and 1996 of the county of Clwyd.
