Llandegla
The Llandegla War Memorial commemorates those men of Llandegla
who were killed during World War I and World War II.
The memorial takes the form of a standing cross in the grounds of
St Tegla's Parish Church.
Llandegla or, in full, Llandegla yn Iâl, is a village and
community in rural Denbighshire. Between 1974 and 1996 it was in
the county of Clwyd.
The estate of Plas yn Iâl in the village was the seat of the Iâl
(later anglicised to Yale) family, whose most famous member, Elihu Yale,
gave his name to Yale College, now Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut,
USA.

A stained glass window in the north wall of St Tegla's church is also dedicated to Glyn Price Jones and Francis Campbell Jones.
