The Penycae War Memorial commemorates those local people who died in two world wars. The memorial stands in the Memorial Gardens in Hall Street.
The village and community of Penycae lies in a former heavily industrialised area in the County Borough of Wrexham. Until 1974 it was in the historic county of Denbighshire and between 1974 and 1996 in the county of Clwyd.
