The St. Martin's War Memorial commemorates those men and women from the area who were killed in World War I and World War II. It takes the form of a standing stone Celtic Cross with decorative knotwork.
The small border village of St. Martin's (Welsh: Llanfarthin) lies in the county of Shropshire in England but had strong connections with the historic county of Denbighshire across the border in Wales.
The parish of St. Martin's was part of the Welsh Diocese of St Asaph until 1922 when it was transferred to the English Diocese of Lichfield.
