The Threapwood War Memorial commemorates those local people who died in World War I. The memorial takes the form of a marble obelisk.

Threapwood is a village in Cheshire, England and sits on the border with Wales. Until Victorian times the village was partly in Cheshire, England and partly in Flintshire, Wales. But in 1896, the county and national boundary, which passed through the village, was adjusted slightly in favour of Cheshire.
