Gwernaffield War Memorial


The Gwenaffield War Memorial commemorates those men of the area who died during World War I and World War II. It takes the form of a standing stone Celtic Cross and was unvield on 12th February 1921.

Gwernaffield (or, in full, Gwernaffield y Waun) is a village in Flintshire. Between 1974 and 1996 the area was in the county of Clwyd.
