Holywell War Memorial

Holywell

Treffynnon

The Holywell War Memorial commemorates those men of the area who died in the Boer War, the First and Second World Wars, and in more recent conflicts. The memorial takes the form of ornate wrought iron gates at the Panton Place entrance to Fron Park. The names of those who died are listed on two tablets at either side of the gates.

Holywell (Welsh: Treffynnon) is a town overlooking the Dee Estuary in Flintshire. Between 1974 and 1996 it was in the county of Clwyd.
