Llansilin
The Llansilin War Memorial commemorates those men of the Llansilin area who died in two world wars. The memorial, in the form of an ornate standing, stone Celtic Cross, stands outside St. Silin's Parish Church.
Llansilin is a village and rural community in Powys. The community includes Llansilin village, a large rural area and the hamlets of Moelfre, Rhiwlas and Llangadwaladr.
Until 1974, Llansilin was in historic Denbighshire and, between 1974 and 1996, in Clwyd. However, in 1996 the area was moved into the county of Powys.
