Rhyl War Memorial

Rhyl

Y Rhyl

The Rhyl War Memorial commemorates those local people who died in conflicts throughout the world. The memorial is sited on the seafront in the centre of the town and takes the form of three pillars, the central one featuring a soldier of the Boer War.

Rhyl (Welsh: Y Rhyl) is a large seaside town, community, and ecclesiastical parish in Denbighshire. It lies on the north coast of the country, to the north of the city of St. Asaph. Until 1974 the area was part of historic Flintshire, and between 1974 and 1996 part of the county of Clwyd.
