Glanyrafon

 

The Southsea War Memorial commemorates those local people who died in World War I. The memorial, taking the form of a standing Celtic Cross, stands in front of All Saint's Parish Church in Smithy Road.

 

Southsea (Welsh: Glanyrafon) is a village in the community of Broughton, County Borough of Wrexham. Until 1974 the area was part of the historic county of Denbighshire and, between 1974 and 1996, part of the county of Clwyd.
