The Trelawnyd War Memorial commemorates those men of the area who died during World War I

Trelawnyd is a village in Flintshire and is part of the community of Trelawnyd and Gwaunysgor. It was previously known as "Newmarket". Between 1974 and 1996 the area was in the county of Clwyd.
