Absent Voters Lists for North Wales Absent Voters Lists for North Wales compiled by Dr Dyfed James
In each constituency, people who were eligible to vote in the 1918 (and later) General Election, but were away on war service were registered as Absent Voters.The lists contain (for at least 95% of the names) Surname, Forename, Address, Service Number, Rank, Unit/Ship/Squadron/ Regiment.
They come in two searchable spreadsheet versions, one by polling district and Parish, the second is by A-Z of surname & Forename.
