Acrefair Bridge

The railway bridge across the Llangollen Road in Acrefair. The bridge carried the GWR line from Ruabon to Llangollen and on to Barmouth. Acrefair station is off to the left of the picture. The entire line was closed in 1965 and the bridge later demolished.

Bourne House in Newbridge was the Rhosymedre Circuit House for the Primitive Methodists. Many baptisms are recorded as having taken place here.

Rhosymedre Church

St. John's church was consecrated on 6 July 1837 and the new parish of Rhosymedre was created on 24 May 1844.
