The Pavilion was an ornate building with five domes and dominated the promenade. It was demolished in 1973.

Rhyl Station
Rhyl, in its heyday, was an important station on the Chester to Holyhead line with large numbers of day-trippers arriving by train during the summer. It was also the terminus of the now closed Vale of Clwyd line to Corwen.
